Position: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Eagleville, Tn.

Position Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

1.    Fixture Design: Design and develop innovative fixtures and tooling solutions to support manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality.
2.    Some Process Flow Optimization: Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Implement solutions to enhance process flow and streamline operations.
3.    Some Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
4.    Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and product development to ensure seamless integration of fixture designs and process improvements.
5.    Documentation: Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for fixture designs and process improvements. Maintain accurate records of design iterations and project progress.
6.    Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of fixture designs to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and specifications.


Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
2.    Proven experience in fixture design, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3.    Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting.
4.    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
5.    Experience with process flow analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
6.    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
7.    Self-motivated and proactive with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results on time.
